Pearson King
Pearson (he/him) is passionate about the great outdoors, climbing, and bridging the mentorship gap in the sport of rock climbing. He first began climbing in 2010 while studying at the University of Vermont, and climbing has been an integral part of his life ever since. An avid trad climber, Pearson can most likely be found escaping in his van to Joshua Tree, but he also has a deep love for climbing in the Eastern Sierras and – of course – Stoney Point. In addition to his work with Trailmothers, Pearson is part of the leadership team for Climb the Gap, a group dedicated to increasing diversity and equity in the rock climbing community, and he also helped develop the Stoney Point version of Wet Rock Police to help climbers assess whether it’s safe to climb at Stoney after rain.
